About Us

HG Consulting based in Brussels, Belgium, works with clients in Least Developed Countries and the Caribbean to create solutions for their economies and sugar industries after the reform of the European Union’s sugar regime. By linking stakeholders in the affected countries with specialists in Europe and Brazil, HG Consulting develops bioethanol and biodiesel projects and facilitates funding mechanisms through the European Union and capital markets.  

HG Consulting has developed strategic partnerships with Agrinergy LLP to apply their UN-approved methodology for applying the Clean Development Mechanism to ethanol and bagasse projects; and and with Kenana Engineering and Techincal Services (KETS) to create the technical and economic portions of the projects we develop. KETS has experience developing projects in Sudan, Nigeria and Kenya as well as restructuring domestic sugar industries throughout Africa.
